The City of Boulder approved building permits for Gunbarrel Center, a $50 million mixed-used development planned for a 9-acre parcel off Lookout Road and Gunpark Drive, according to a permits report that became publicly available on Sunday.
This is an exciting development for residents and businesses alike. Many large businesses are located in Gunbarrel but the town lacks locations for workers to live.
Gunbarrel Center’s plans include 251 market-rate apartments, 22,000 square feet of retail space, a pedestrian-oriented “Main Street,” a park and structured parking. An existing 28,000-square-foot office building at 6685 Gunpark Drive will be integrated with the new development.
This could be just the renovation needed to make Gunbarrel Colorado a destination apart from being a place where people work and live.
